The Massiccio delle Grigne, located on Lake Como’s eastern shore between Lecco and Bellano, can be reached via a variety of routes beginning at the Piani Resinelli; of great landscape, geographic, and geological interest, as well as a renowned climbing wall, It is one of the most significant reliefs a few kilometers (about sixty) from the city of Milan. The Piani Resinelli are 1300 meters above sea level on average.

Segrino Lake

Lake Segrino is a small pre-Alpine lake located between the municipalities of Canzo, Longone al Segrino and Eupilio. It is located in a valley between the mountains of Cornizzolo and Scioscia, in the Larian triangle. Due to its underground springs, Lake Segrino is considered the cleanest lake in Europe.

Water lilies, reeds, black alders, willows and poplars characterize the vegetation and there are over 100 species of birds, including the mallard, the gray heron, the kingfisher and the green woodpecker. Lago del Segrino is a great place to relax on a sunny day.

Annone Lake

Lake Annone is the largest of the Brianza lakes and is situated in the northern part of Brianza, west of Lecco. It is surrounded by several hills, including Mount Barro to the north-east and the Cornizzolo to the north. The narrow Isella peninsula forms a channel that divides the lake into two parts. The largest section is known as Lake Oggiono, after the municipality that overlooks the lake’s eastern end.

It is believed that an ancient Roman bridge once connected the two peninsulas, allowing the passage of a major communication road between Lecco and Como. 

The lake’s perimeter can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Those who enjoy being in contact with water, on the other hand, can paddle in canoes and kayaks.
